F.1: Project management (BROZ)

    Achieved results

- The Steering Committee was nominated at the beginning of the project from the representatives of the project beneficiary, State Nature Conservancy of Slovak republic, Administration of Landscape Protected Area Dunajské Luhy, independent scientific authorities and the Ministry of Environment

- The Steering Committee met in 2014 and 2015 to discuss actual and future progress of the project 

F.2: Networking with other projects (BROZ)

- contacts with similar ongoing and completed projects will be established throught which the project personnel will consider and learn different approaches with possible implications for project restoration actions

  Achieved results

- contact was established and co-operation agreed with another LIFE project “REDFOOT” project LIFE11/NAT/HU/000926 realised by Raptors protection Slovakia/RPS (both projects are rather complementary than overlapping and their implementation will create positive synergy effect)

- several projects from other European countries were considered as possible good examples of restoration of grasslands (especially, use of natural seeds mixtures, sheep grazing management, pollard willow management and biocorridors creation)

- the after – LIFE plan will propose how to continue the project activities started during the project period after its completion and how it will ensure the long term management of the project area and target species and their habitats
